Department of Computer Science of East West Business School is the oldest and most renowned department offering Computer Application Education affiliated with Bangalore University.
It has the distinction of being the first college to offer Bachelors of Computer Application at the undergraduate level under the Science faculty. It has been a pioneer in this field and continues to lead in Computer Science Education.

The Department offers the following course: Undergraduate course: BCA– formerly known as (Bachelor of Computer Application) The faculty members are well qualified, dedicated, focused and highly motivated. They work consistently to take this Department forward. The Department has well-furnished classrooms, state-of-the-Computer Lab and a large stock of books in the under-graduate as well as post-graduate libraries.

Syllabus

This comprehensive approach covers foundational aspects of computing sciences and helps develop professional skills and problem-solving abilities using computing sciences.
The syllabus includes computer science subjects along with three allied subjects such as Mathematics, Electronics, and Statistics.
Duration: BCA is a full-time degree course affiliated with Bangalore University. National Education Policy (NEP): The program aligns with the National Education Policy introduced by Bangalore University from the academic year 2021, ensuring that it meets global standards.
Problem Solving Abilities: The course aims to develop students’ problem-solving abilities using computers, a fundamental skill in the field of computer science. Skill Set and Analytical Abilities: It focuses on building the necessary skill set and analytical abilities for students to develop computer-based solutions for real-life business solutions.
